Volunteer Opportunities: Design Roadshow, Sept 2009

We're going to be curating a Roadshow of student work that will travel to several Art & Design Universities, Colleges for the first weeks of Sept. The following outlines the different roles that we've identified for volunteers to play. Please email me if you're interested in helping out and which tasks you'd be interested in helping with.

Creative Curator

* review and choose student work
* organize work as a collection
* brainstorm clever name/branding for show

Communications

* help CC to brand show
* create promotional posters, blog posts, web graphics
* document show

Student Work Coordinator

* collect student work
* print work to specs
* create labels with rationale/name

School Ambassador

* preferably a current student or recent alumni
* select location, time/duration
* work with Dean, Campus Services & Security
* request set-up & tear-down help

Project Manager

* create & manage workback
* Keep deadlines
* Liaise between school ambassador and Student Work coordinator
* organize team for set-up/tear down

Set-up/Tear down Team

* set-up show at schools (can choose 1 or more schools)
* tear-down show
* transport to next location
