I've read Nathan;s work before and he has a way of making sense of complicated subjected matter that matters.
Seems to be a trend at Rosenfeld Publishing.

What we have on our hands is not a problem with the economy, or a problem with the climate warming. Every problem in modern society stems from the population explosion. Every solution we have found has come from the same place. As designers it is up to us to spread the word. This is why we have started our un-book- The Graphic Designers Handbook for social change. The memory stick that SO wants to be green...But is so not...
These 'tree trunk' memory sticks really made me laugh. Clearly designed for the 'want to be green but not quite sure what it means' brigade, they aim to make your electricity-guzzling PC look eco-friendly.
While there's clearly nothing green about these gadgets (trees were harmed in the process, too), they are a great example of a certain trend towards greenness that's based purely on image. I can imagine the same people that bought…

This is an older article that I forgot to share on here.... These were created by grade 11 students in London, ON- I just noticed it was featured on one millions acts of green as well- its brilliant, I can see many other possibilities for them- although I think the milk packaging needs to be reviewed for production in the future- but this way this will at least eliminate the waste we have now.
